Targray collaboration expands RNG supply to Canadian markets

June 17, 2026. Targray has announced a strategic collaboration with LF Bioenergy, a leading producer of renewable natural gas (RNG), to supply RNG to markets across Canada.

The collaboration combines LF Bioenergy’s agricultural RNG production with Targray’s extensive market expertise, customer network, and supply chain capabilities. Together, the companies aim to increase access to low-carbon energy solutions for industrial, commercial, and transportation customers seeking to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and meet sustainability targets.

“Expanding access to renewable natural gas is critical to supporting Canada’s energy transition,” said Andrew Richardson, President of Targray. “By working with LF Bioenergy, we can connect high-quality RNG production with customers seeking practical, scalable solutions to reduce their carbon footprint. This collaboration strengthens our ability to deliver value across the RNG value chain.”

As a leading offtaker of U.S. RNG, Targray provides supply, trading, and market access solutions to Canadian clients looking to integrate low-carbon fuels into their operations while navigating evolving regulatory frameworks. Through its platform, the company supports U.S.-based RNG producers like LF Bioenergy with flexible offtake structures, logistics, and carbon market expertise.

Supplying renewable natural gas across Canadian jurisdictions requires more than access to production volumes. Organizations must navigate a complex and evolving landscape of environmental regulations, carbon markets, fuel compliance programs, and environmental attribute management requirements.

Targray’s dedicated regulatory affairs team provides customers with deep expertise in Canadian and U.S. low-carbon fuel programs, helping ensure RNG transactions are structured to maximize value while meeting all applicable compliance obligations. This regulatory knowledge has become a critical differentiator in bringing renewable gas supply to market and expanding access to RNG in regions where participation has been limited by regulatory complexity.
