December 4, 2025. Ductor Americas, Inc. and Weaver Brothers Eggs are proud to announce a major milestone in the development of their groundbreaking renewable energy and organic fertilizer project in Darke County, Ohio. The project has received its permit to Install and Operate, issued by the Ohio Department of Agriculture, allowing the partners to proceed into the execution and financing phase.
This flagship facility, located on-site at Weaver Brothers’ egg production operations, will transform poultry manure into clean energy and sustainable agricultural products using Ductor’s proprietary, proven nutrient recovery process. The Drake Project sets a new benchmark for poultry manure processing in North America—scaling circular bioeconomy principles into a replicable infrastructure model.
Transforming poultry manure into three high-value products:
- Renewable natural gas (RNG) – Injected into the regional gas grid, with a low carbon intensity score (~-100 CI in ISCC), eligible for the U.S. 45Z production tax credit.
- Certified organic liquid ammonia fertilizer – Approved in California and Washington, supporting organic agriculture across the U.S.
- Solid fertilizer – High-value soil enhancer distributed to local agricultural markets.
With the permit secured, Ductor and Weaver Brothers will move into final engineering, procurement, and financing, with construction expected to begin in the first half of 2026. RNG production is targeted for Q4 2027.
