April 10, 2026. The American Biogas Council (ABC) unveiled the educational programs slated for BIOGAS AMERICAS 2026, taking place May 18–21 in Detroit. The event – North America’s largest biogas and renewable natural gas tradeshow and conference – will feature more than 50 industry experts as panelists and is expected to draw nearly 2,000 attendees. SJI will serve as the event’s 2026 title sponsor.
The conference will convene project developers, operators, utilities, investors, technology providers, policymakers, from across the biogas value chain for four days of programming, networking, and business development.
“BIOGAS AMERICAS brings together the people building this industry to tackle the biggest challenges facing biogas today,” said ABC Executive Director Patrick Serfass. “This year’s educational programs are focused on practical insights attendees can use immediately.”
The conference educational programs are designed to help attendees navigate today’s biogas market, from financing and offtake to policy, carbon accounting, operations, and more.
