May 11, 2020. Clean-air non-profit Energy Independence Now (EIN), the only nonprofit focused on hydrogen vehicles, lent two hydrogen cars and fuel cards to, Men with Vision Foundation so they can deliver groceries to veterans, seniors, low-income families and the homeless. This will save the Foundation money and help the environment.

Everyone is enjoying the cleaner air in the LA region, and many are looking for ways to keep the air clean when more people start driving again. That’s where hydrogen cars come in. They are zero-emissions and don’t have to be recharged like battery vehicles.

It’s no secret that transportation is the largest source of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in California, so the use of these hydrogen vehicles will not only benefit residents, but the environment too. SoCalGas is an advocate for the use of hydrogen vehicles and forged the relationship between EIN and Men with Vision.
