April 30, 2023. ANGI Energy Systems has bolstered its global leadership team with two key strategic appointments. Joel van Rensburg becomes President of Alternative Fuels and Danny Seals steps up to the position of General Manager, Hydrogen.
The appointments of van Rensburg and Seals is evidence of the company’s focus on and investment into a full alternative fuels solutions suite to serve a variety of applications and provide full turnkey refueling infrastructure to the global mobility sector.
van Rensburg was previously General Manager of Hydrogen where he was focused on developing the essential partnerships and technologies needed to grow this vital part of the business. In 2022, he spearheaded the launch of ANGI’s new Hydrogen Business Unit, which was established to provide the technologies and services for a complete alternative fueling platform solution.
As President of Alternative Fuels, van Rensburg will be instrumental in strengthening ANGI’s alternative fuel solutions, encompassing hydrogen, compressed natural gas (CNG), renewable natural gas (RNG) and Gasboy, the commercial and fleet refueling solution. He will be building the foundations for the company’s strategic mission to accelerate smart, sustainable solutions for the road ahead.
Danny Seals leads the company’s continued expansion into Hydrogen refueling station solutions. He originally joined the New Product Introduction team at ANGI’s parent company Gilbarco Veeder-Root in 2005, and has since assumed various positions of increasing responsibility across the Gilbarco Veeder-Root North America business, with specialist areas being Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, and more recently, Product Marketing and Key Account Management.
