October 13, 2026. PlanET announced that 2026 year marks 20 years of operating in North America for the company. It plans to celebrate by hosting a 20th Anniversary Open House during the American Biogas Council’s BUSINESS OF BIOGAS conference. The event will be held Tuesday, October 20, from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. in Room Gateway A of the Four Seasons Hotel.
“What began as a vision on October 27th, 2006 has grown into a journey shaped by dedicated employees, trusted partners, loyal customers and an industry committed to transforming waste into value,” said Derek Hundert, President of PlanET North America. “Over the past two decades, we have had the privilege of helping advance anaerobic digestion and renewable natural gas across the continent.”
The company noted that 48 biogas plants in North America now use PlanET anaerobic digestion technology.
