Peterbilt reinforces commitment to Canadian market at Truck World 2026

April 15, 2026. Peterbilt Motors Company will feature its expansive product lineup at Truck World 2026, Canada’s most influential commercial vehicle trade show, taking place April 16–18 in Mississauga, Ontario. Exhibiting at Booth #2204 at the International Centre, Peterbilt will highlight a versatile range of premium trucks engineered to support the diverse operational demands of Canadian fleets.

The vehicles on display include:

  • Model 589 Legendary Package with Cummins X15 engine
  • Model 579 UltraLoft Sleeper with PACCAR MX-13 engine
  • Model 567 Hydrovac with PACCAR MX-13 engine
  • Model 537 26 ft Dry Van​ with PACCAR PX-7 engine

In addition, Peterbilt will feature two alternative powertrain vehicles in the Ride & Drive event, the near-zero emissions Model 579 CNG, equipped with a Cummins X15N for customers seeking cleaner, natural gas-powered vehicles and the fully integrated, all-electric Model 220EV, ideal for pickup and delivery.

Peterbilt’s commitment to Canada is further reinforced by its Saint-Thérèse manufacturing facility in Quebec, which now produces Class 8, medium duty and electric vehicles exclusively for the Canadian market. “We build Canadian trucks for Canadian customers,” said Erik Johnson, Peterbilt assistant general manager, sales and marketing. “This ensures every vehicle provides individualized solutions that meet the region’s unique operational needs and strengthens the partnerships and collaboration with our local customers and dealers.”
