The Transport Project hires Director of Membership to support expanded industry participation and impact

The Transport Project, a national coalition of roughly 200 fleets, vehicle and engine manufacturers and dealers, servicers and suppliers, and fuel producers and providers dedicated to the decarbonization of North America’s transportation sector, announced the appointment of Kirk H. Ross as its Director of Membership, a newly created position for the three-decades old organization.

In his new role, Ross will lead The Transport Project’s membership initiatives, focusing on recruiting new members and retaining existing ones through engagement initiatives and program analysis aimed at developing and activating the membership base.

Over his twelve-year career, Ross has worked in membership roles for advocacy organizations in agriculture, manufacturing, and local government. He specializes in grassroots advocacy, empowering volunteers, and fostering membership growth, emphasizing the perspective of members as investors in a better, more prosperous industry.

Kirk Ross holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of the Ozarks and a Master of Public Administration and Policy from American University in Washington, D.C. He also has a Certification in Association Management from the American Society of Association Management.
